This rustic colour takes inspiration from the french town of Arles where earthy yellow ochres are dug from the ground

*Annie Sloan invented Chalk Paint™ in 1990, inspired by traditional recipes such as casein and gesso.     These paints are truly tried and tested

*Simply paint your furniture and wax with Annie Sloan Soft Wax

*Paint walls and leave matt, or wax for an aged patina effect

*For the French look, paint furniture in two tones, seal with clear wax, distress with fine sandpaper, and wax again

*Paint wooden floors in solid colour or create a translucent wash

*Bring colour to concrete floors

*On garden walls and furniture, chalk paint™ will fade and distress naturally without peeling

*For old houses without damp proofing, use chalk paint™ so that walls can breathe

*No priming or sanding necessary

*This paint sticks to wood, paint, plastic, stone, brick, concrete, and metal

*No removing of old wax, paint, or varnish

*All the colours can be lightened, darkened or mixed together to easily create a bespoke hue.

Water based eco friendly and highly concentrated to produce extensive covering power. These paints dry with a beautiful velvety matt finish. For most purposes, one coat of paint is enough. However some furniture, generally from the 1930’s and 40’s can have a coating which may cause a stain to come through. Don’t worry, just apply clear shellac to the stain and repaint.

1 litre = average coverage of about 13m²
